pix2

This is my personality, if you or you or you were wondering.
I loved this picture, thats me in the barn and my brother took this picture.  I don't know why I'm standing like I just saw aliens but for me, this picture works.
The ball field
Stares
and more lines and stares

Just a bunch o pix

I got bored in the sleepy little town that I am staying in, so I went out to take pictures of God knows what.  I found an old baseball field and I tried to use lines and angles to drive the pictures.
Not so much this one tho, I just liked the fact that it was a dirty wall with birds...simple things...simple minds.

This was taken a while back on a random outing.

Its been a while

Man O man! It's been a little while since I've posted anything...

The weather in Arkansas is rainy, the air is thick and humid.  The fireflies have once again started to light the fields.  And if memory serves me right, there were no fireflies in Colorado.

The movie has been wrapped now for a while and I'm trying to find work on another movie set.  But the truth is that I don't think I have the desire for it.  I love the movie industry and making movies is a good deal of fun, but the politics involved can drain a person of all color.  It dawned on me the other day that, I don't think I'll ever work a certain job for any long period of time.  I think the 2 constants in my life will be the stock market and photography.  But I mean as for work, sure I'd like to be a DP... but I could go for being a dive master on a island, or a sailor for NOAA, or a deep sea fisherman, maybe a little bit of construction...I would like to do some sail boat finish work... but do you see what I'm saying?

For the record I've been a global traveler since I was 15, it started with family vacations to the islands and then when I turned 18 I had enlisted in the Navy.  I'm 25 now and I just spent the last 2 years of my life married and landlocked!  aye......

I've been divorced since Jan, and my need to roam has only gotten worse.  I reckon it's time to make a break.

Well Im off, and be looking for a website called trackzac.com or something close to that.

Catchin Up

So, I've been away for a bit.  The movie wrapped in Aspen, Im kinda still broke...meaning I dont have enough money to do what I want...well I do...but I wont be able to live much longer after that and the fact that I have 2 big ass dogs, kinda keeps me from gettin crazy with my cash.

I am waiting for the work in New Mexico to pick up, while I hang out in Arkansas.  Im thinkin about getting a head shot done and turning it over to the casting agent/ whoever is in charge of hiring actors.  I reckon, Im not to cute, but Im not to ugly, and I can tell a lie or 2 when I need too.  So why the hell cant I give acting a shot, eh?

Other than that, I dont have much.  I got a photo shoot or 2 in my mind that I need to do on med format.  And yea...Im stopping to catch my breath and clear my mind, then Ill go from there

Ill post pictures sometime in the future

Around town

Here are some stills from around the crummy little town that I grew up in.  The bathroom and the abandoned room are stills from the prison camp at/on Fort Chaffee.

The church...I got nothin'....but, the print is entitled "the restoration of God"

Same thing for the bridges...nothing special, just an old train bridge that I think still works.

This is the first time I got together with friends and actually sat down and thought of an actual theme/shoot.  Usually I just go out and start shooting when I am inspired.  But on this day we just decided to do something totally off the wall.  So we grabbed our friend Lauren and put her in a dress, gave her a hammer and an ax, slapped a gas mask over her face and called it good.  It was 17 deg. out and we could only stand the cold for about 10 min.  Speaking from experience, shooting off 36 exposures seems to take forever in the cold!
