This will be my last post of the night, mainly because this is the only other photo I have online...and I am without my computer or a computer with my work....sigh....So this is another one of the few that has gotten a little bit of recognition with people. Basically, I was out driving around in Jan. of this year after my wife and I split up. I went back to my home town in good ole Arkiesaw...which I will be very honest, the town I grew up in really sucks, but however! It has some amazing photography of the old and run down. This is a new ferries wheel, but chances are NO ONE will end up riding it. This photograph almost makes it look a little outdated and worn.
When I first looked at this through the viewfinder I remembered thinking...man that's boring, we gotta change this up a bit. So I got way close and framed it to my liking and I personally think it looks a bit more interesting than just a full on frontal of a carnival ride. The lens is a 50mm prime T2. My film stock was some outdated 200spd kodak...and going off the cuff here I am going to guess that I was shooting around f11 at 500.
